Cheapsteaks

Cheapsteaks was a great addition to Deep Ellum. Moderately priced good food with live music. It reminds me of a place that would thrive pre pandemic. If I'm in the area I'll swing back in.

Fantastic venue, vibe and friendly staff. Outdoor patio in the back with the heaters was great. Never struggled to find seating indoors either. The open mic venue was too much fun. Amazing talent Dallas. Bartender was very accommodating in making my new york sour, even though they were out of sour mix and he never made one before. He was still determined to make it happen and that he did! Appreciated that.

Pleased with the meal. Would have been a disappointment to order a steak at a place named steak and have it be cooked incorrectly. My favorite dish honestly was the Brussel sprouts, found myself chasing that elusive citrus bite again and again. Special shout out to Kristen, amazing service. Sparking personality and knowledge of the menu provided us with an amazing experience.
